Stitch Sampler

 

Stitch Sampler produced while in the first year of study at the Royal Schol of Needlework. It's worked in crewel wools with a variety of stitches.

 

 

 

Embroidered Coat

 

Embroidered with appliqued lace motifs, velvet flowers and jewel stones, Clare embroidered the coat to be worn at a family wedding. The coat itself was designed and made by Alison Miles of Bath.

 

 

Art Nouveau

 

Silk shading designed in an Art Nouveau style.

 

 

 

 

Fuchsia

 

Stitched during Clare's time at the Royal School of Needlework.

 

 

 

Gold Initial

 

Personalised initial, worked in cut gold.

Free Machine Embroidery

 

Machine embroidered sheep. The outline was sketched on first and then stitched freely using a basic sewing machine.
